So the big news right now is the passing of DJ A.M. I was reading Miss Info’s blog and saw a post she had links to real heartfelt messages from Diplo and Justin Warfield. The thing that stuck with me was something that Justin Warfield had written “For me personally it’s a reminder that while it may seem like someone has everything, you never really know what’s going on inside someone else’s skin.”
I think it’s always sad to hear about the passing of someone whether or not you knew him or her personally. Think of it this way they were someone’s brother/sister, son/daughter, mother/father, husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend and friend…
if you didn’t know, my sis and i are kinda into nine inch nails…a couple months ago they added some final shows for the tour (which they say are their last) including a few at teminal 5 (nyc). my sis tried hard to get tix and ended up missing the shows. all was lost. then her husband came to the rescue and got 2 tix for tonight. we always are early, always get up to the rail…this was taken at last night’s show:

Cash Money Records and Lil’ Wayne’s offshoot imprint, Young Money Entertainment, are staging a virtual coup on the industry this fall.
In a recent interview, Cash Money’s co-founder Bryan “Baby” Williams revealed the label’s combined roster will release up to six albums between September and October of this year.
Leading off the assault will be Hip-Hop’s newest star, Drake, who officially joined the Young Money roster in late June.
“We’re putting out five albums, we gonna do a blow out,” Bryan “Baby” Williams said. “Drake album, my album, Young Money, Wayne album. We gon’ put ‘em all out in one month, September going into October. G. Malone and 2 Pistol probably come out in between all of that.”
