    How does it feel?

Like crap. The diff seems to be a total bust. when I hit a bumpp driving on the highway the car shakes side to side. and it started raining when I was a few miles from my house and I felt the rear slide at like 20mph. i had to take backroads to my house and I gave it a little gas just to test it and the rear started to slid at like 25mph. I think I have to take it out. Don’t know of that’s normal but I can’t drive it like this. And the exhaust fell off of the hanger on the way home :-\ I need to give up on the car game….

    So nice

    eshift down the drain…

I don’t think it’s eshifts fault. Ankur just hasn’t had enough time to get used to it. And get some better tires for the the back too…

i do, but i still want to drive it to see what it’s like. maybe they didn’t set the shims and backlash right. it might also need to be broken in better. ankur, do some figure 8s for 30 minutes (15 in each direction) then we’ll change the oil. should make it a little better.

  8. super sal, September 17, 2009:

or they just may have bad karma now…

  9. George, September 17, 2009:

they broke it in already and changed the oil. It could be a lot of things. Too little backlash would make it whine. Too much backlash would make it clunk when stepping on the gas. Does it do any of that? It could be that the clutch is stiff and shocking the drivetrain causing the tires to break loose…like a clutch kick. He also has the g-force t/a that have a crappy wet traction as well.

    It barely makes any noise.

  11. George, September 17, 2009:

it could be the tires. Dont forget that it’s most slippery when it first starts raining too.

It jerks side to side when I hit a bump when it dry out. Is that normal? I don’t rememebr chris’ or sal’s car doing that when I drove them. It also tends to pull to the right sometimes. I feel like I have to fight with the steering wheel at times. It also slid out to the right when I was driving on that bring on rt 1 right before the lowes theather. If the diff is just like that than it’s too aggresive for me and has to be removed.

hmm…either me or sal will have to drive it. something seems weird.
